I completed a 3-month Software Engineering Trainee Internship at FamilyShell LLP, where I contributed to a production family management application built with FastAPI, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Cloudflare R2, and Flutter.

My work focused on backend development, production bug investigation, feature implementation, API debugging, testing, and collaborating with developers to deliver production-ready fixes.

Software Engineering Trainee Intern

Worked on backend services for a health records module in family management platform using FastAPI, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Cloudflare R2, and Flutter.

Production Engineering Contributions

  • Investigated and resolved production backend bugs across FastAPI APIs, MongoDB, Redis, authentication, reminders, notifications, and cloud storage workflows.
  • Traced frontend–backend request flows by analyzing backend logs, Flutter logs, MongoDB data, and REST API responses to identify root causes.
  • Implemented backend fixes for Health Records, Reminder scheduling, Notification delivery, Authentication workflows, Email reminders, and attachment management.
  • Worked with JWT authentication, Redis caching, Cloudflare R2 object storage, WebSocket notifications, and scheduled background jobs.
  • Performed regression testing after bug fixes to verify production-ready behavior across backend APIs and Flutter clients.
  • Collaborated with the development team through Git-based workflows to test, validate, and ship backend improvements.
